The Hank Williams Museum houses the most complete collection of official Hank Williams memorabilia. Located in downtown Montgomery where Hank lived from 1937-1953, the museum is only a short drive from the Staybridge Suites Montgomery EastChase Hotel.

Along with records, clothing, saddle, piano, and guitar, and over 32 cases of personal artifacts, the museum also houses Hank William’s 1952 baby blue Cadillac in which he made his final, fateful journey. Hank Williams has left his mark on the musical world and Montgomery making his first and last professional appearances within Montgomery city limits. When you visit the museum you’ll be taking a step into the past. Hear his music, watch the videos and learn about the legend of the man that made such an impact.

The museum opened in 1999 as the culminating point of a long-standing dream. Currently the museum is open Monday thru Friday 9am-4:30pm, Saturdays 10am-4pm, and Sunday 1pm-4pm. (hours subject to change 1/1/08 with the opening of the new convention center) Admission is $8 for adults and $3 for children 3-11. Group rates are available upon request.
